City's Mobile Office coming to Bonteheuwel and Steenberg

30 October 2025

Next week Thursday, the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be providing municipal services at the Bonteheuwel Civic Centre and at the Steenberg Community Centre on the Friday. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the services that will be on offer on the day.

The details are as follows:

• Thursday, 6 November 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Bonteheuwel Civic Centre, Cnr Bluegum Street & Kiaat Road, Bonteheuwel

• Friday, 7 November 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Steenberg Community Centre, Cnr Symphony Avenue & Cradock Road, Steenberg

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries.

‘We are bringing the City’s services closer to Bonteheuwel and Steenberg residents for their convenience. This is a special opportunity to discuss any municipal items that residents have wanted to address. Should you wish to make use of the services on offer, do remember to bring along your ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
